A few years back, Jack Briglio and Alexander Serra put together a cute little series called Growing Up Enchanted. This delightful miniseries grew smitten attention from critics, who went on to nominate it for an Eisner Award in 2003 as the “Best Title for a Younger Audience.” AAM Markosia is bringing the series to comic audiences again in a complete collection.

Pre-1999: Mythography # 6, # 8; Dragonforce # 12, # 13
The beginnings of Growing Up Enchanted first appeared in two short stories in the fantasy anthology Mythography circa 1998. My first feeble attempts at writing comics was a decade before that for an Aircel/Eternity superhero series (that Hulk/Pitt artist Dale Keown worked on before his big break) called Dragonforce. Find them and read them at your own risk!
